Boat Mechanic

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Boat Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in a variety of boats, from outboard engines to inboard motors. As a Boat Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our clients' marine vessels.

Responsibilities:

●       Diagnose and repair boat engines, including both outboard and inboard motors.

●       Perform routine maintenance and service on marine engines and boat systems.

●       Troubleshoot mechanical problems, including steering systems, propellers, and hull integrity.

●       Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary parts and supplies.

●       Provide excellent customer service, including explaining technical issues to boat owners.

●       Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marine technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

●       Proven experience as a boat mechanic or in a similar role.

●       Certification from a recognized marine mechanic training program or manufacturer-specific training preferred.

●       Strong understanding of marine engines and mechanical systems.

●       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
