  4. Contract Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensuring that contractors meet their contractual obligations, including quality standards and delivery schedules.
    • Monitoring contractor performance and addressing any issues or concerns.
    • Mitigating risks associated with contracting activities, such as legal, financial, and performance risks.
  5. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Staying current with federal procurement laws, regulations, and policies.
    • Implementing and enforcing compliance with ethical standards and procurement integrity rules.
  6. Contract Closeout:

    • Facilitating the closeout of contracts upon completion of work or termination.
    • Ensuring all deliverables have been received, final payments made, and necessary documentation completed.
  7. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including legal counsel, finance, and program offices.
    • Communicating with external stakeholders, such as contractors, vendors, and industry representatives.
  8. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency.
    • Participating in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in federal contracting.
