Labor Finders in Victorville is looking to hire a YARD SUPERVISOR / FOREMAN with STEEL EXPERIENCE for an immediate need in the San Bernardino area.

  • Position: Yard Supervisor / Foreman
  • Location: San Bernardino, CA
  • Steel Experience Required: YES
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay: $23.00/Hour
  • Days: Mon-Fri
  • Shift: 7am-3:30pm
  • Length: Temp-To-Hire Opportunity

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead yard crew
  • Communicate stock needs with Manager to keep sufficient stock in yard.
  • Assist Manager with keeping the yard clean.
  • Oversee all cutting.
  • Greet walk in customers in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Load customer's vehicle using the correct safety procedures.
  • Load our driver's trucks for delivers.
  • Knowledgeable of all steel products.
  • Knowledgeable of all cutting and processing equipment.
  • Knowledgeable on receiving and stocking procedures.
  • Communicate with management on problem orders.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety regulations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and co-workers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with steel.
  • Previous experience working as a supervisor / foreman.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to heavy lifting.
  • Other requirements and/or screening may apply.
  • E-Verify will be used for employment authorization purposes.
