Powell Constructors Inc, A 38-year-old heavy highway construction and infrastructure company is looking for a Labor Compliance Administrator that wishes to make a career with a premier midsize heavy civil construction firm. We are looking for a motivated individual with a solid work ethic, who enjoys working in an environment with a family feel and dedicated employees. The applicant must be a team player, have strong organizational skills, and a desire to succeed.

Labor Compliance Administrator Essential Functions:

· Review and submit weekly certified payroll reports for self-performed work

· Monitor and track Subcontractors certified payroll reports

· Understand prevailing wages, union crafts, and fringe benefits

· Communicate with CA DIR and/or other agencies for compliance

· Assist Subcontractors for corrective actions for non-compliance issues

· Understand and keep current with Master Labor Agreements and rates

· Have basic knowledge on California and Federal Labor laws

· Review for accuracy DAS 140, DAS 142, certified payroll register, statement of compliance and fringe benefit statements

Additional Responsibilities and Competencies:

· Backup to the administrative assistant for answering calls and walk-ins

· File keeping and recording accordingly

· Organizational skills

Experience

· 1-2 years previous experience with certified payroll in the construction industry

· LCP tracker proficiency required

· Caltrans experience preferred
