Financial Analyst/Assistant

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst/Assistant to join our team You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs; as well as, serve as a full-time assistant to our top advisor(s) and executive(s) at the firm. We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability, has a keen attention to detail, is reliable and wants to join an organization long-term.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BASIC ADMINISTRATION
- Assist with day-to-day servicing of clients, including: account opening, client requests and document preparation.
- Process incoming mail.
- Schedule client and prospect appointments and maintain schedules and CRM system (i.e. Redtail).
- Communicate with senior executives regarding meeting preparation for prospects and current clients.
- Prepare or assist in preparing various financial or administrative reports.
- Performing ad hoc projects, as needed.
- Handle “alerts” from Schwab and TD Ameritrade daily.
FINANCIAL SERVICE TASKS
- Serves as first point of contact for our team, clients and prospects
- Analyzes client balance sheets and investment portfolios.
- Handles transactions including trades and money movement among accounts.
- Responsible for financial market research and investment manager research projects.
- Responsible for portfolio construction through Morningstar and the firm’s Model Portfolios.
- Assist in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations to management.
- Ensures accuracy when filing client documents and handling client material.
- Serves as a liaison between the firm and it’s custodial bank for client service requests.
- Prepare presentations for client quarterly reviews.
- May initiate new procedures in accounting/business systems.
- Maintain and expand finance industry knowledge, by attending educational workshops or classes; reading financial publications; establishing networks.

- Report any troubling discoveries or suspicion of wrongdoing to the company leadership.
- Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures.
- Compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards is a must.
- We expect you to exercise sound business judgement at all times. This includes being courteous, punctual, respectful and professional in all written and verbal communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- Advanced presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Ability to service clients admin needs
