Founded in 1972, we are a leading prosthetic facility in the greater Cleveland area with a thriving and growing practice with 2 locations and we are looking for dedicated CPO's to join our clincial team.
Duties and Responsbilities:
- Creating a comprehensive prosthetic/orthotic treatment plan to meet the needs and goals of the patient in collaboration with the ordering physician.
- Deliver quality prosthetics/orthotics in a professional manner in relation to patient care.
- Perform fabrication along with instruction and guidance to technicians to assure quality, fit, function and timely delivery to patient.
- Evaluate prosthetic on estabilished or new patients to ensure appropriate fit, function, efficacy and quality of device.
- Provide required documentation for administrative staff to facilitate reimbursement verfication.
- Compliance with all standards, policies, procedure and regulations.
- Maintenance of patient notes, charts, documentation in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Participating in professional development through continuing education, training and research.
Requirements:
- Licensed by State of Ohio for Prosthetics or eligible
- Certfifed by American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC)
- or Board of Certfification/Accreditation (BOC)
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, and to work effectively with a wide range of people.
- 2-5 years of experience in prosthetics preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to be collaborative and participate in a team approach.
- Proficient computer skills in MS office, MAC, Excel, EHR and CAD.
- Valid drivers license with no operating limitations and a reliable vehicle.
- A good sense of humor and a willingness to perform at a high standard excellence, integrity and ethics.
