Job Description:
The Staff Accountant will provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. This position will assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Billing, and Month-End Close.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable/accounts receivable data.
  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and contract billing
  • Perform monthly reconciliations
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Audit and process credit card bills
  • Assist in Month-End Close
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports
  • Maintain Vendor files, including receiving W-9
  • Maintain Customer Contract files
  • Ad hoc Projects

Qualification requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • 1 – 3 years of previous accounts payable/accounts receivable experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized account and spreadsheet program.
