Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Bankruptcy Paralegal/Attorney to become a part of our team You will provide overall support to attorneys business needs. Bankruptcy experience background will be helpful in learning the field of tax law representation. Willing to train the right person. Bankruptcy experience is a must but note that the job does not only involve duties related to bankruptcy representation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Chapter 7 and 13 Document filing and preparation experience preferred.
- 1-3 years experience preferred, but not mandatory.
