WTWH Media (www.wtwhmedia.com) is seeking a motivated, experienced Staff Accountant to manage the daily operations of its Food, Retail & Hospitality (FRH) revenue cycle.

Revenue cycle management begins at the time a contract is signed and approved by the deal desk and continues through the processes of identifying services as fulfilled, invoicing customers, reconciling recognized revenue and communicating with customers to effectuate payment.

This role is a collaborative one that works closely with cross-functional teams to provide cohesive and knowledgeable support for stakeholders to help achieve revenue and cash flow targets in accordance with revenue recognition policies and other standards. This high-profile role supports sales and finance leadership with systems and processes associated with a high-growth environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the accurate data input of intricate sales orders, and assisting with data input during peak selling periods
  • Processing sales contract changes and amendments
  • Accessing and referencing various internal support systems to identify completion (fulfillment) of contracted services
  • Creating and sending different types of customer invoices based on set criteria
  • Preparing monthly revenue reconciliations by brand (profit center) and type of service
  • Ensuring checks and balances between finance, sales and operations
  • Accuracy in all work product and its related impact on revenue forecasting and recognized revenue
  • Becoming an expert in our business processes to proactively manage and monitor workflows and queues to ensure data quality and throughput
  • Compliance with company policies and standards
  • Documenting exception processing and non-standard changes
  • Creating and editing monthly reports
  • Acting as the primary customer service representative for the FRH tower clients
  • Acting in close liaison with customers with respect to invoicing and collections
  • Assisting with annual financial audit support activities
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with accounting system(s), particularly environments where there was interaction with sales, contracts, and production (operations) fulfillment teams
  • Preferred experience with NetSuite accounting software
  • Preferred experience at a B2B company or media/agency company
  • High-level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • High-level of comfort accessing, referencing and moving between multiple system sources of information
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Exemplary organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong initiative and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience operating a monthly checklist and routine sourcing of internal support systems
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to understand compliance with processes and procedures
  • Ability to identify and flag for reporting any non-compliance with processes and procedures
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as a part of a team
