Dissassembler

f you are a dependable self-starter with mechanical aptitude, we may have a spot for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual in search of a lifetime career in the trades. Our training schedule will steer you towards success in this full-time technical position. The correct entry level candidate will be responsible for disassembling transmissions and proper cleaning of all components. Shop cleaning duties to include taking out trash weekly, cleaning shop floors, cleaning disassembly area, keeping work area neat and organized daily, etc.

Job duties:

· Disassemble transmissions and components using hand and pneumatic tools

· Properly and accurately place parts on cleaning racks

· Thoroughly clean parts utilizing manual cleaning procedures as well as aqueous spray cabinets

· Accurately maintain each transmission components and assemblies as a unit

· Ensure paperwork is complete and with the unit

· Keep a clean and orderly work area at all times

· Perform any other duty as instructed by your supervisor

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Clean MVR and valid driver’s license

· Some mechanic or parts experience desired

· Ability to safely and efficiently use mechanics tools and equipment

· Basic computer knowledge preferred

· Lift truck certification desired, or the ability to be certified required

· Personal and professional integrity

· Must be physically able to work in a jobsite environment to include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, crouching and reaching

· Ability to work in warehouse conditions with occasional exposure to extreme heat/cold

· Ability to work rapidly in a dirty environment
