Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and esthetics to create high-quality dental prostheses.
- Interpret and follow dental treatment plans and prescriptions from the dentist to ensure the desired outcome is achieved.
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure successful patient outcomes and meet patient expectations.
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases, ensuring on-time delivery of final restorations.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with cases and communicate with the dental team as needed.
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized work area, as well as manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of cases and materials used.
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and protocols for a safe and healthy work environment.
- Train and mentor junior staff members as required.
- Attention to detail: Dental prosthetics and restorations require a high level of precision and accuracy, so a Master Ceramist must have excellent attention to detail to ensure that each restoration is of the highest quality.
- Manual dexterity: The ability to work with small tools and materials using fine motor skills is essential for a Dental Master Ceramist.
- Technical knowledge: A Dental Master Ceramist must have a strong understanding of dental materials, laboratory procedures, and equipment to create functional and aesthetically pleasing restorations.
- Creativity: While following prescribed procedures and protocols, a Dental Master Ceramist must also be able to think creatively to solve problems and create customized solutions for each patient.
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with dental practitioners and other staff members is critical to ensure that each restoration meets the patient's needs and expectations.
- Time management skills: A Dental Master Ceramist must be able to manage their time effectively to meet production deadlines and maintain a consistent workflow.
- Quality control: A Dental Master Ceramist must have a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement to ensure that each restoration meets or exceeds the required level of quality and accuracy.
