We are currently looking for a Reporting/Portfolio Analyst for Direct Hire position with one of our International Banking Clients in Mid-Town Manhattan. The role will sit within the Corporate Banking & Commercial Real Estate Group and will complete portfolio valuation, analyze company results for both internal and external parties, and contribute to projects within the Corporate & CRE group as needed. The ideal candidate should come with 3-5+ years of experience within Financial Services and familiar with daily/monthly reporting, KYC reports, as well as various BI and Excel inputting. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Produce recurring investment reports timely, accurately and completely, including monthly portfolio summaries (risk package); reporting for clients, front office, board of directors, and the investment committee.
  • Perform month-end portfolio pricing procedures such as reasonableness and completeness checks, as well as due diligence to ensure accurate portfolio valuations. 
  • Create summary materials highlighting significant changes/events and valuation metrics, to be presented to Executives within the Corporate & CRE Department for their review and approval.
  • Support the investment performance function and help adhere to, and maintain, procedures that further performance results.
  • Develop new investment reports, as needed, to assess and analyze the impact of current market events and/or fulfill ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinate with all levels of investment and finance management across the broader organization to gather, analyze and prepare internal and external investment financial reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems, Data Science or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of investment accounting & CRE 
  • Confirmed understanding of investments, including fixed income asset classes. Derivatives and alternative investments experience a plus.
  • Critical attention to detail and developing analytical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated, with the desire to learn
  • Good time management and organizational skills
