Established in 2008, Morrison Millwork is the premier window and door distributor for the custom home market in North Carolina and upstate South Carolina. The company is growing in territory coverage with every initiative. We deal in brands including Weathershield, Loewen, and NanaWall.

Role Summary:

To develop and maintain partnerships between customers and Morrison Millwork to fulfill their window and door needs. Salespersons will be integral in building long-lasting relationships between customers and the company. The salesperson’s role is to increase sales. This will involve identifying customers, listening to customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and closing the deal.

Essential Roles:

  • Generating Leads: prospecting (cold calls, referrals), partnering with Business Development
  • Building Relationships: establish and maintain a relationship of trust and innovation.
  • Qualifying Opportunities: seek to understand customer’s needs, provide innovative solutions to needs
  • Servicing Customers: provide courteous, caring, considerate service and always do what is right.
  • Continuing Education: work to be fluent in Morrison Millwork’s product portfolio and participate in ongoing professional and industry development.
  • Autonomous Motivation: self-regulation of goals & outcomes consistent with effective selling

Accountabilities:

  • While using Morrison Millwork’s Proven Process – “The Morrison Millwork Way,” prospects qualify and generate sales.
  • Calls prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualifies, and drives leads through the proven sales pipeline.
  • Execute territory and sales strategies.
  • Evaluate customer needs using a help first mentality, present “The Morrison Millwork Way,” and offer innovative solutions to needs.
  • Provide the Sales Support team with appropriate information to complete a timely proposal.
  • Follow up with customers to present proposals and close the deal.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and coordinate fast solutions with the Service team.
  • Complete all administrative paperwork and data entry per company guidelines.

Other Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Architecture, or related field OR at least 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance policy required and a clean driving record.
  • Availability/Willingness to travel; including overnight travel.
