Press Operator

Founded in 1972, Our client takes pride their reputation as a partner that offers much more than you’d expect from your average tool & die or metal stamping manufacturer. In the press operator role, you will be responsible for operating machinery in support of company objectives for safety, quality, productivity, cost & delivery.

What You Will Do:

• Operate single hit and/or coil fed stamping presses from 60-200 tons
• Ensure that specific work instructions are followed and report variances
• Keep accurate records of production & comply with any other required documents
• Perform in process inspection of the parts being produced

What You Need:

• At least one year of prior machine operating experience
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to use calipers and measuring devices along with functional gauges
• Strong desire for continuous improvement and learning new skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
