As a steward, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and smooth operation of the kitchen, here at the Intermountain Health Performance Center. You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas, including kitchen, storage areas, and public spaces. Additionally, you will assist in the setup and breakdown of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and events, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly stored.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in designated areas.
  2. Clean and polish glassware, silverware, and other utensils used in the meal room..
  3. Collect and dispose of trash and waste materials appropriately.
  4.  Assist in the breakdown and storage of equipment and supplies after events or during facility closure.
  5. Handle and report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
  6. Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  8. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.
Requirements:
  1.  High school diploma or equivalent.
  2.  Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  3. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  7. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or stand for extended periods.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
