Job DescriptionJob Description

******This job will be located in Garden Grove, CA******

This position will be responsible for designing major warehouse racking systems, conveyor systems, and LED lighting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare diagrams and drafts for material handling systems found in warehouses
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance
  • Review and modify designs to reduce productions deficiencies
  • Provide timely updates for drawing completions and workload
  • Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
  • Assist the permit process and handle drawing corrections
  • Perform job site surveys effectively
  • Compute the materials needed accurately

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in materials handling, manufacturing, construction, or other related fields is preferred
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD or other related software. Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Firm grasp of mathematics and engineering
  • Deadline and detailed-oriented
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Capacity to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Communication and organization skills
  • Material handling design experience preferred
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Photometrics software experience is a plus
