Qualifications and Skills:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA certificate preferred.

·       Between two – five years’ tax preparation experience

·       Proficient in preparing income tax returns for individuals and various entity types.

·       Experienced in preparing various tax and payroll reports for various governmental agencies

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

·       Proficiency in tax software, Lacerte preferred.

·       Proficiency in QuickBooks; Desktop & Online

·       Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions, ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

·       Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally with management and clients.

·       Able to work as a team player

·       Open to development of skills and knowledge

·       Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change
