Crystal Soda Blast is a rapidly growing local mobile abrasive blasting business. We use various media (sand, baking soda, walnut shell, steel shot, dry ice, etc.) to prepare and restore surfaces. We've been in business since 2001 and are currently seeking an experienced technician to join our team.
Qualifications:
-Prior Sandblasting or painting experience- preferably industrial or commercial
-Operate multiple types of blasting equipment
-Build containment walls

-Sweep/Clean up media
-Able to be on feet for extended periods of time

-Able to work from ladder or scaffolding safely
-Occasional lift 100 lbs with assistance.

Job Requirements:
- Valid WA State driver's license and/or reliable transportation

- 18 years of age or older

- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

- Agree to a background check

- Pass medical exam for Respirator use

- Ability to work in a full face mask (no facial hair) with hoses and in low light conditions

- Out of town travel occasionally required- we pay for hotel and per diem

- Must be a US Citizen and/or have proper documentation to work in the US via eVerify

- Able to work Nights, Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays (as needed) with notice

Bonus points for (not required…will train):

- Have OSHA 10 Certification or above

- Forklift certification

- Able to troubleshoot equipment failures

- Able to drive a truck towing a trailer

- Lead abatement training/certification
