Job DescriptionJob Description

Currently accepting both full time and part time candidates.  

Impact the lives of young children with developmental delays through early intervention services. Collaborate with families to support developmental progress and functional life skills. Work includes designing and directing play based therapy for child and routines based intervention for child and family. Services most often take place in a child's home and community and sometimes via telehealth.

Providers spend roughly an hour a week (based on IFSP) with the client supporting early speech and language development. Children served all have developmental delays. Some children may have diagnosis including but not limited to: autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorder and more. Client hours as well as meeting and supervision time is all compensated. Client hours are compensated at a higher rate.

There are opportunities to both receive and give trainings, learn through shadowing, collaboration and connections with other disciplines and providers. Snapdragon Child Development is committed to providing growth and advancement opportunities for employees. Early Intervention Providers can be isolated, but we provide teaming, training and transdisciplinary opportunities and support to ensure excellent intervention services. Employees are encouraged and given opportunities both to teach and to learn.

This position receives support and supervision from a speech language pathologist with 20 years of experience in the field.
