BJG Electronics is the premier domestic, and international supplier of electronic interconnect products to all major military and aerospace manufacturers. BJG is a leading supplier of interconnect and electro-mechanical products to the world’s leading mil-aero OEMs, serving various markets including defense, commercial air, test & measurement, radar, and space. As a value-added distributor and assembler, the company maintains niche capabilities in designing cables, harnesses, box assemblies, and build to print assemblies.
BJG Electronics is looking for a Product Manager is responsible for product pricing, management, and product marketing. This individual shall be focused on prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with sales and engineering to deliver winning products to BJG’s customers globally. The Product Managers role should include ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall goals and objectives. The Product Manager is an essential element of both BJG’s daily operations and its long-term supply chain management solutions. The Product Manager is the leader for our pricing strategy having responsibility for product pricing, marketing, and training. This individual will be focused on prioritizing customer quote opportunities and working closely with sales and our suppliers on those opportunities. You will own the strategy and pricing for a portfolio of products and help to educate our sales organization on them. The Product Management team is the liaison between Sales and our Suppliers, helping to negotiate best in class pricing to support the company’s overall goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Define the product technology roadmap and potential product additions or reduction
- Be an expert with respect to the competition and understand market share trends
- Manage the supplier relationships and evaluate potential new partnerships and business opportunities
- Responsible for negotiating inventory supplies on inventory prices and ships and debits
- Establish resale pricing in conjunction with sales
- Team is responsible for setting up part numbers and bill of materials
- Work with sales on the strategy and implementation of our long-term agreements
- Develop and implement vendor managed inventory programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in HR Information Systems (HRIS) advanced proficiency
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager or Product Pricing
- Minimum of 3 years in the wire & cable industry preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent with attention to detail
- Strategic thinking skills with strong business analytic skills
- Ability to work in a highly matrix‐ed organization
