Marine Technician / Diesel Mechanic with experience working on Outboard Motors, Diesel engines - Detroit Diesel, Cummins, Volvo, as well as ZF and Twin Disc gears, from oil services to diagnostic troubleshooting and providing full maintenance & repair services to a fleet of vessels and equipment. Mechanic will be maintaining diesel engines on several types of vessels, highway trucks, heavy equipment, friction cranes, marine outboard engines, small gasoline engines. Custom Fabrication abilities are a big plus for this position.

Company DescriptionBIDCO Marine Group (a.k.a. Buffalo Industrial Diving Company) is located on the downtown waterfront in Buffalo NY. The Company has gained experience in almost every aspect of marine & underwater construction project since our inception in 1993, including both inland and offshore diving operations. Multi-year backlog and market demand are requiring the addition of key project management positions to our current management team. BIDCO is currently accepting applications and will interview qualified individuals for the positions of Field Engineer, Project Superintendent, and Welders / Fabricators.

BIDCO ownership is looking to hire a like-minded leader to manage and oversee our operations on a full-time / permanent basis. Being a small closely held company, members of the management team are key company employees, working closely with the Company's owners and hands-on across many aspects of the Company’s operations. Currently, and including two active principal positions, there are seven full time management / administrative employees and two part time professional positions (all non-union) at our beautiful modern marine facility in Buffalo.

The company typically employs 20-40 commercial divers, operating engineers, and marine tradesmen daily.
