Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including daily bank reconciliations.
- Manage and maintain the accuracy of financial systems, to include AP/AR, the General Ledger, Job Costs, Payroll, WIP schedules, and Billing
- Review and analyze project budgets, commitments, costs and projections to ensure financial accuracy
- Assistance in configuration and implementation of new systems and reporting tools
- Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage and perform month-end close processes, including collaborating with plant operation team members to ensure a complete and accurate month-end close.
- Provide support to the AR and AP as needed, including helping with problem solving and answering questions.
- Lead the annual financial statement audit and periodic bank audits throughout the year.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
- Experience with Dynamics or Business Central 365 is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills, GAAP accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research, and resolution skills.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization; written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, multi-task, balance priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Must have a team player attitude with a desire to support the company as a whole.
