Job Title: Final Quality Assurance Inspector III

Job Overview:

The Final Quality Assurance (FQA) Inspector performs final and other types of quality inspection to ensure adherence of the finished product to compliance requirements and procedures. Reports to Manufacturing Quality Supervisor and is located in Newark, CA.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspections, and check sampling procedures: 

- perform a cosmetic and full inspection, as well as a functional test for all product lines including PCBA and box builds, 

- ensure finished product compliance with ISO 900X, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 standards and ESD practices, proper material handling, and NCR practices/systems

2. Monitor and operate critical equipment and instrumentation: 

- read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of material (BOMs), MPI, ECN, Deviation, and other manufacturing documentation related to inspection in approving or rejecting final assemblies record daily test results,

- perform data entry and scanning to support daily production schedules and transactions

3. Provide team support: 

- demonstrate work methods to new hires,

- share best practices, assist in minor troubleshooting,

- actively participate in cross-training

4. Provide team leadership: 

- lead the work of the cell

- act as cell lead, delegating routine tasks to team members,

- manage team’s work time and attendance,

- track the team’s performance

5. Other duties and responsibilities related to Quality Assurance as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

1. Minimum High School Diploma
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in First Article, In-Process, FQA, or Receiving Inspection in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment
