Concrete Polishing Technician

Overview:

Premier Polishing Corporation’s Long Island location is seeking a concrete polishing technician with 3-5 years experience in the concrete polishing / concrete installation industry to join our fast growing team. As our company grows, we look for our dedicated team members to grow with us and take on more responsibility in leadership and management roles.

Premier’s staff of professionals include technicians, job foreman, designers and engineers who work closely with our clients in the commercial and residential sectors to design, engineer and produce an everlasting product.

Responsibilities

• Prepping of concrete floor or substrate prior to concrete polishing

• Operating concrete grinding machines (specifically Husqvarna RC and manually

  operated grinders)

• Prepping of chemicals, admixtures, and stains for flooring installation

Skills and Abilities

• Self - Motivated

• Attention to detail

• Teachable

• Collaborates and works well within a team setting

• Ability to think critically

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in the concrete industry specifically concrete polishing

• Experience operating concrete grinding machines preferred

• Experience handling and mixing of chemical admixtures / stains preferred
