GENERAL DEFINITION
Looking for an experienced painter that qualifies in the industrial production
manufacturing business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Good knowledge of 2-part epoxies, urethane, enamels and water borne paint
systems.
• Able to produce high quality finishes.
• Able to brush and roll a variety of paints.
• Possess skills such as masking, rolling, sanding, cutting, and mixing paint.
• Understand preparation of metal surfaces for painting.
• Knowledge of different types of spray equipment.
• Able to maintain and maintenance paint related equipment.
• Able to organize and maintain a clean work environment.
• Able to prioritize multiple projects.
• Understanding safety requirements.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Good communications skills.
• Primary duties include but not limited to painting, prepping and masking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct

• Able to work in a mechanical/industrial shop or field environment (being aware
of your surroundings and operations going on around you).
• Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close
quarters performing analysis and repair work.
• Ability to work standing up to 10 hours per day.
• Able to see, with or without correction.
• Able to hear, with or without correction.
• Able to respond to visual and audible instructions.
• Able to lift push, pull 0-15 lbs. unassisted and regularly.
• Able to lift, push, pull 15-35 lbs. assisted and regularly.
• Able to read, write and understand basic English.
• Subject to long work hours.
• Withstand exposure to dust, grease/oil, noise, seasonal weather elements.
• Work in hazardous work environment around cranes, forklifts, moving
equipment.
