Graze Craze of Urbandale, IA is now hiring full and part-time "Grazeologists" This position is in the food industry (non-restaurant) preparing and assembling charcuterie boards and boxes.

Exceptional customer service is a must. We expect all team members to be positive and detail oriented, interact with guests, follow recipes, follow food preparation guidelines, and clean as they go. No prior food experience needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assemble a variety of charcuterie boards and platters, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare and handle fresh ingredients, including cured meats, cheeses, fruits, and accompaniments.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and provide a memorable purchasing experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders for supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the preparation and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with the team on new product ideas, seasonal offerings, and special events.
  • Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and manage delivery logistics.
  • Promote our brand through social media engagement and in-store marketing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in food preparation, catering, or a related field is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
  • A passion for food, creativity, and high-quality presentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
  • Social media savvy is a plus.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and some Sundays by appointment. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available for days, some evenings, and weekends.

Starting pay is $12/hour plus tips (average $5 per hour in tips historically but not guaranteed).
