Position Overview:

As a Post-Bar Law Clerk at our expanding personal injury law firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team with various tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who took the July 2024 California State Bar Examination to gain hands-on experience in the legal field and develop valuable skills.

This role offers an enriching opportunity to gain practical experience in the legal profession, work alongside seasoned attorneys and staff, and contribute to the pursuit of justice for our clients. * This full-time role is based at our Beverly Hills office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various tasks specific to personal injury cases, such as gathering relevant information and ensuring seamless progression of cases through the process
  • Support in preparing legal documents, conducting comprehensive research, and maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues within the firm
  • Accurately file legal documents in compliance with procedures and deadlines
  • Manage case files efficiently, organizing essential documentation to facilitate streamlined case management and retrieval of information as needed
  • Draft clear and concise legal documents under the guidance of attorneys
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A successful completion of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is required
  • Completion of the July 2024 California State Bar Examination
  • Prior experience in a legal setting is highly beneficial
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, processes, and procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a variety of situations
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments, with a willingness to take on additional duties as required

*Starting pay is $25-$30 per hour, determined by experience.
