Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Import/Export Contract Administrator for a 3-to-4-month assignment on first shift. You will work well in a project team and can communicate technically with other team members. You will work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Duties:

  • Create a document set applicable to this contract that will facilitate payment for the delivered equipment
  • Prepare paperwork based on contract and port of entry
  • Read and understand the portions of an equipment supply agreement pertinent to the delivery of the equipment
  • Review and correct documents to ensure compliance with the contract and the conditions of payment
  • Train other in proper procedures, general and collection of documents and form to facilitate payment
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management and project teams and attend weekly status meetings
  • Work closely with Project Managers to keep them informed of any issues that may prevent or delay payment

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5 years Contract Administrative experience
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Excel with experience in SAP/ERP Systems
  • Must know imports, exports, and incoterms
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive schedules and deadlines
  • Must be able to work well with all levels within the organization
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills while having a professional attitude
  • Must be motivated, able to pay a high attention to detail, while taking ownership of assignments
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and able to travel to other locations
