MH Eby an industry leading manufacturer of aluminum transportation equipment is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT support team as an Entry-Level IT Support Technician. This position will play a key role in providing technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. Qualifications:

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, or in-person.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.

  • Assist in the setup and configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve escalated technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and hardware/software inventory.

  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, such as software upgrades and system migrations.

  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and antivirus scans, to ensure the security and performance of IT systems.

  • Provide training and guidance to users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
