Outpatient Therapist

The Bridge Family Center is seeking Therapists for its West Hartford and Avon offices to provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families and conduct the necessary case management to support the healing process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical
- Complete clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients.
- Provide effective therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families as demonstrated by documented progress toward treatment goals.
- Maintain timely and complete clinical records in electronic recordkeeping system in accordance with licensing and funder requirements.
- Maintain required caseload with a variety of challenging cases. Participate in effective joining with clients as demonstrated by kept appointments.
- Facilitate referrals to Bridge Medical Director/APRN when appropriate, and collaborate on cases.
Administrative/Staff Relationships
- Facilitate necessary processes to ensure client payment and meet or surpass revenue goals.
- Actively participate in weekly Team and Group Clinical Supervision meetings.
- Actively participate in weekly or bi-weekly individual clinical supervision, frequency to be determined by Clinical Director, or designee.
- Participate in in-service training.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field. Master's level Licensure (LMSW, LMFT-A, LPC-A) required. Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) preferred. Offer within pay range will be impacted by licensure status. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and experience working in a managed care environment. Excellent time management skills required. Experience using Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records systems.
Skills: Individual, couple, and family therapy, clinical assessment and treatment planning, interpersonal skills, networking, and computer literacy for effective and efficient record keeping.
