Staff Accountant - Dayton, OH

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant. This candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and technical proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management: You'll be the mastermind behind organizing and summarizing financial details into separate ledgers, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of financial data.

2. Financial Integrity: Balance and reconcile accounts with precision, upholding the utmost financial integrity in all transactions.

3. Invoicing and Billing: Seamlessly manage internal invoicing and billing tasks, essential for the smooth flow of operations.

4. Accounts Mastery: Take charge of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring that financial transactions glide effortlessly.

5. Reporting: Craft insightful reports reflecting cash flow, expenditures, profit and loss, and other vital business metrics, providing crucial insights for decision-making.

6. Project Collaboration: Your active involvement in departmental projects will contribute to enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness, making a tangible impact on success.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience is ideal; internship experience also valued.

Attention to Detail: Knack for spotting even the tiniest discrepancies in financial transactions and data is highly valued.

Communication Skills: Stellar written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.

Technical Proficiency: Solid computer skills, especially in navigating and leveraging accounting software.
