Overview

As a Slot Technician at SlotCycle, you will service customers by ensuring that Slot Machines are in good working order. You will accomplish this by applying your skills to troubleshooting, configuring software, and repairing slot machines and related components and parts. SlotCycle has a wide range of manufactures models to work on. If you like troubleshooting and solving problems this is the place for you. At SlotCycle, you will be constantly learning about slot machines, systems, and other gaming equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of slot machine experience. A background in technology is a plus, as you will work with software and hardware components.

 

Pay Range - $20-$40 depending on qualifications

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform game conversions
  • Configure slot machine software to make the slot machine operational.
  • Execute work orders to repair games that are inoperable.
  • Identify repairs required to make a slot machine operational.
  • Install slot machine parts and components as needed
  • Capable of handling and assessing circuit board assemblies, power supplies, ticket printers, bill validators, and video monitors.
  • Assess slot machines to identify missing parts and equipment
  • Perform functional tests.
  • Skilled at completing partial and full RAM clears
  • Knowledge of ticketing and slot accounting systems is a plus.
  • Capable of occasionally lifting 100lbs and moving slot machines

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Degree or Certification in Electronics preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience of slot and/or electronic repair and maintenance; ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical slot machine malfunctions preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of training experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required.
  • Must be trained and able to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Understands basics of machine parts, harnessing, and cabinets of machines in use at casinos.
  • Proficiency in using computers and electronic devices.
  • Must possess the physical capabilities to be able to carry machine keys, electronic devices, a radio, tools, and a notebook on shift.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Must maintain a strict level of confidentiality and act in a manner consistent with all legal and regulatory requirements and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Capable of being able to obtain a Nevada gaming card, and a valid driver’s license. Experience working with Slot Machines from various manufacturers.
  • Able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated.
  • Be presentable and willing to travel between 25-50% of the time.
