JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Electrical PE (MEP) Director, you will oversee the planning, design, and execution of MEP projects, focusing primarily on electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge, and a proven track record in managing complex MEP projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management

·       Lead and manage MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

·       Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.

·       Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

·       Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet project goals.

 

Technical Expertise

·       Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems for MEP projects.

·       Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards.

·       Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.

 

Team Collaboration

·       Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and plumbing engineers.

·       Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.

·       Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.

 

Client Relations

·       Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project updates.

·       Address client concerns and provide solutions to meet their needs.

·       Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation to clients.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

·       Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing MEP projects.

·       Proven experience in single-family, multifamily, and/or mixed-use projects.

·       Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and installation.

·       Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, project management tools).

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
