Do you LOVE dogs?? We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person to join our staff.
We are open 6am to 7pm Mon-Fri and 8:30am to 5pm Sat and Sundays.
I am looking for a full time person with some flexibility in their schedule. You will be asked to work the occasional weekend shift. You will also be required to work most major holidays, school breaks (Fall, winter and spring), Exceptions can be made. As long as we have enough to cover the increased volume of overnight boarders during those times.
We currently have between 8-15 daycare dogs during the day. We have averaged a few overnight dogs during the week and usually about 10 to 15 on the weekends. During this past week (Spring Break) we had as many as 33 dogs.
Job consists of checking the dogs in and out for daycare and overnight boarding.
Lots of clean up of pee and poop.
Keeping the facility clean and smelling nice.
Playing with, comforting and watching over the dogs while there having play time, potty time and just in need for a loving touch.
This position requires someone who can lift and dump out a 40 pound full mop bucket, keep an energetic 60-80 lb dog in check, and friendly with the dogs owners.
Someone with vet tech, grooming, training and/or extensive experience having and owning dogs is a major plus.
