Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Repairs: Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly, including minor repairs to appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
- Work Orders: Respond to and complete work orders efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of residents' maintenance requests.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
- Unit Turnover & Remodeling: Assist with unit turnovers and remodeling projects, ensuring spaces are move-in ready and up to company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency maintenance services as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the property management team to coordinate maintenance activities and support property operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC are a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions.
