About the Role
Our client is seeking an actor for a short film. This dramedy focuses on dialogue and will be shot entirely in one location. The project offers an opportunity for a beginner actor to gain experience in a focused, intimate production setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the assigned role in the short film
- Memorise and deliver dialogue effectively
- Collaborate with the student director and crew to bring the character to life
- Participate in any necessary rehearsals prior to filming
Requirements
- Acting experience not necessary; suitable for beginners
- Ability to memorize and deliver dialogue naturally
- Availability for the full shooting schedule on October 26th and 27th
- Willingness to travel to and stay in Syracuse, New York for the duration of the shoot
- Comfort with performing in a single-location setting (house interior)
- Adaptability to work with a student film crew
