Electrical Engineer

Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311

Wage: $30+ per hour (DOE)

Shift: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday (1-hour lunch)

Job Summary:

  • Design industrial control panels, wiring plans, and ladder logic schematics.

  • Set up and program PLCs.

  • Ensure product safety and compliance with electrical/UL codes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical control panels and systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.

  • Install and update electrical systems.

  • Write user instructions and specify materials.

  • Use 2D CAD for designs.

  • Write PLC programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate Degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred).

  • Experience: 2-3 years in electrical fields (5 years preferred).

Skills:

  • Electrical systems and engineering knowledge.

  • Familiarity with PLCs and ladder logic.

  • Proficiency in 2D CAD.

  • Understanding of UL508A, NFPA70, and IEC standards.
