Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. This role

ensures efficient and effective management of inventory, goods receipt and storage, order fulfillment, logistics, safety protocols, and staff supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations and Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, receiving and storing goods, and fulfilling delivery orders.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and implement efficient processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and storage.

Logistics and Delivery Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate the delivery of materials from the warehouse to construction sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Select appropriate transportation methods, coordinate with trucking companies, and arrange for specialized equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records related to the delivery process, including shipment tracking, delivery schedules, and compliance with site regulations.

Safety and Security:

  • Ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed within the warehouse environment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the delivery process, ensuring proper packaging, handling, and contingency planning for delays or disruptions.

Team Supervision and Communication:

  • Supervise and lead the warehouse staff, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with both the warehouse team and the construction site team to ensure smooth coordination and address any issues or concerns.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of related experience in warehouse/logistics.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must have knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

Certificates, Licenses, and Work Requirements:

  • Proof of authorization to work in the U.S
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Continuous personal automobile liability coverage
  • Ability to work forklift, various mechanical warehouse equipment.
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug test
