Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Summary

  • Cleans and restores building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, water or mold.

General Accountabilities

  • Cleans and deodorizes walls, floors and building contents
  • Packs and stores contents as required
  • Removes and disposes of non-salvageable materials
  • Extracts water and moisture from structures using commercial drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
  • Performs light demolition and repair work as required
  • Cleans and maintains equipment and vehicles
  • Complies with federal, state, and company safety and environmental rules

Job Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a restoration technician preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) preferred
  • Must pass background check, drug screen and have a valid Texas D/L
  • Must be willing to be on call with weekend work a possibility
