Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
Description: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Additional Information:

  • Position Description: Requires Labor Delivery and Obstetrics experience. The nurse must assess patient problems/needs, establish a care plan, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the plan based on patient progress.
  • High-Risk pregnancy management: Preterm Labor, High blood pressure, Diabetes, VBAC, Prenatal testing
  • Time off: No more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment, Labor Day holiday not approved
  • Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
  • Certifications required: NRP, BLS (AHA)
  • State License: New Hampshire

Submission requirements:

  • 2 years Current OB/LD experience - Required
  • Post-Partum AND Mother/Baby experience - Required
  • NURSERY Experience - Required
  • Apgar/Routine testing experience - Required
  • AWHONN and STABLE - Strongly preferred
  • Lactation experience - Preferred
  • BSN - Highly preferred
  • Previous travel - Preferred
