Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Production Lead/Supervisor (DOE) to join our team The Production Lead Supervisor is responsible for creating and executing the production plan. The position will also coordinate production workflow for multiple products while prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Will take a leading role in continuous improvement, product flow and capacity improvement to improve the overall efficiency of manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Production manager in executing work orders.
  • Assist in the supervision of direct labor employees.
  • Reviews work orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate the movement of inventory to ensure production lines have optimal performance.
  • Relay relevant information to management regarding material shortages, schedule interruptions and possible equipment maintenance that would affect production.
  • Review part availability including quality approval prior to scheduling.
  • Trains direct labor to ensure SOP and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Reports yields and efficiencies and recommendation for improvements.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

​Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a GMP manufacturing environment with machines and D/L processing and management
  • Previous experience in manufacturing with multiple lines
  • Relevant experience as a supervisor in an environment with controlled processes
  • Knowledge of production tools and equipment
  • Proven experience in planning with an understanding of Quality Control Processes
  • MRP experience is preferred.
