FMI, a subsidiary of Desa, rolled up Design Dynamics in vented and vent-free logs in the early 2003 timeframe. Subsequently, the management team from the FMI segment of Desa acquired the assets of their division in 2008. TRM Innovative Heart Products is a growing manufacturing company that manufactures fireplace inserts. Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description:The Production Worker is responsible for the safe utilization of staffing, equipment, and materials within the assigned area of responsibility. Our company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Worker to carry out various tasks in our busy warehouse. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and construction experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive salary and generous paid time off. The Production worker behavior supports IHP values.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble goods on production lines.
  • Monitor the production process.
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
  • Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse.
  • Pack goods to be shipped.
  • Maintain work areas and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED Preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience working in a warehouse Preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
Language Ability:

Position requires fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
