We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth HR operations across the Credit Union.

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will be a key player in managing a wide range of HR responsibilities, with a particular focus on payroll processing using ADP. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR practices and regulations. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and HR management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Administer and process payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • HR Administration: Perform a variety of administrative and technical HR functions, including job analysis, employee communication, benefits administration, worker’s compensation, FMLA administration, compensation, and training and development.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws and assist with labor relations and policy recommendations.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS): Manage and maintain HRIS, including the development and upkeep of HR-related internet and intranet sites.
  • Employee Support: Conduct exit interviews, assist with employee training, and support the HR Director with day-to-day activities, report preparation, and special projects.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about HR trends and best practices by participating in professional associations and attending relevant training events.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing using ADP.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in HRIS and ADP payroll systems.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
