Job requirements

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, heating systems, and ventilation components.
  • Perform installation of new equipment, ductwork, piping and wiring according to specifications and building codes.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R systems, identify repair needs, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure installations are completed accurately an on schedule.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC/R systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project details, including installation reports, equipment specifications, and inventory records.
  • Be able to travel outside of our main territory, including but not limited to overnights stays for certain projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service, address client issues, and maintain positive relationships with customers.

 

Qualifications

  • Verifiable experience in commercial refrigeration installation, including firsthand experience with various refrigeration systems, such as walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerated display cases and HVAC systems.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, systems components, safety guidelines, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Commitment to safe practices and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for the team and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members and clients.
  • HVAC/R certification or relevant trade qualifications preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments (e.g., rooftops)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
