SCRAM Representative

Position Type: Part-Time, Non-exempt

Hours: 25 hours/week; Monday-Friday 11am-4pm; on call every other weekend

Location: Orlando

Summary of essential job functions:

• Administer and coordinate all SCRAM, Remote Breath and Drug Patch services including installation and removal, monitoring, uploading, collection of patches for testing and Remote Breath initializations. Report to Probation Officers, Court and Jail officials, Pre-trial Release Officers, and ensure client compliance regarding payments.
• Ensure all client paperwork is completed and maintained as required by Florida Administrative Code and/or policy.
• Act as liaison to county courts and probation.
• Conduct presentations regarding programs to court officials and probation.
• Keep all inventories updated. Clean and refurbish equipment as needed.
• Maintain communication with external referral sources and customers by attending meetings and providing brochures/flyers and other information as needed.
• Ensure that the offices and files are secure on a daily basis.
• Court appearances if necessary.
• On call duties are required for SCRAM installs at the local jails.

Minimum requirements:

• Associate's Degree, preferably in a social services field
• At least two years experience in social services field
• Excellent computer skills to include database as well as Microsoft Office knowledge
• Quality and detail-oriented
• Valid driver license

Abilities required:

• Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and driving.
• May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Requires manual dexterity sufficient to service SCRAM bracelets using pliers and a screwdriver; as well as the operation of standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone and other office equipment.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
• Interaction primarily with Court Officials, Probation and Re-trial Release officers, clients, and co-workers.
