TYPE: Contract with the possibility of perm - Hybrid

PAY: Up to $21 per hour DOE 

CONTRACT BILLING ADMINSTRATOR DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Generate and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all relevant information is included.
  • Coordinate with various departments to obtain necessary billing information and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process payments received from customers, recording transactions accurately in the billing system.
  • Reconcile billing statements and accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues and discrepancies promptly.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of billing procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive billing information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Generate billing reports and provide analysis as needed to support decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to billing practices.
  • Will answering the customer dedicated phone line to assist injured workers with locating a provider in network that they can utilize.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE CONTRACT BILLING ADMINSTRATOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of billing principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using billing software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in customer service is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Must be detail-oriented
