Job DescriptionJob Description

Join a growing tutoring business in the heart of the Main Line as a part-time elementary/middle school or middle school/high school tutor in reading, writing, math. We are looking for candidates who are excited to work with elementary to high school on reading and writing along with math up to and including Algebra. Advanced math tutors are also wanted. Tutors will use our own curriculum and can hit the ground running at our Ardmore location, so prep will be kept at a minimum. Most tutoring will be one-on-one. Paid training will be offered to make sure the Lionheart Tutoring methods/policies are understood and delivered effectively. Preference will be given to candidates with past tutoring experience and/or teaching certification. Find out more about our methods at our website www.lionhearttutoring.com.

Requirements:

- Three Background Checks (FBI Fingerprinting, PA Childline Welfare Background Check, PA State Police Background Check)

- Resume

- Teaching Certification in Desired Grades/Subjects to be Taught or a B.A. with a major/minor in subjects to be taught

- Three references of past teaching or employment

Preferred:

- Tutoring experience (1+ years)

- Ability to tutor multiple subjects across multiple grade levels
