Position: Mechanical Room Mechanic

Job description:

·       Run and repair and maintain 12- 50HP boilers, to include all plumbing, valves, water and blowing down equipment.

·       Keep logs of blow downs, repairs, inspections etc.

·       Run, repair, and monitor all water softeners 7 in total. Order salt as needed and keep softness logs by plant and by softener.

·       Heat reclaimers-run, repair and maintain in optimal running condition. Keep logs on temperatures and repairs etc.

·       Water pumping systems-run, repair, and maintain all hot and tempered water pumps, plumbing, valves in optimal running condition and perform preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on all this equipment while keeping logs of psi and repairs.

·       Shaker screens- run, repair and maintain shaker units with the sewer system to keep everything running optimally.

·       Air compressors-run, repair and maintain all compressors and air dryers track required maintenance and schedule service with contractor, keep records.

·       Responsible for inventory of all needed parts for all above-listed equipment.

·       Responsible for all restrooms in all 3 plants to include sinks, urinals, toilets, partitions, fans, and lighting.

·       Responsible for all lunchrooms, sinks, garbage disposal, walls, doors, ceilings, and lighting.

·       Work for and report directly to Asst. of VP of Operations and all reporting as well.

Full time position

The pay range is $20 -$30 dollars an hour based upon experience and knowledge.

Monday – Friday, full benefits after 90 days

Must own your own hand tools.
