Description

The Pool Attendant job at Railside is a seasonal job with the pool being open Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Pool Attendants must maintain a clean and sanitary pool area and ensure that all safety equipment is present at and around the pool area at all times. Pool Attendants also serve drinks and snacks at the pool house, along with guests being able to order from the main restaurant if desired. Pool staff will need to be able to make trips to the main clubhouse either on foot or with use of golf cart during non peak golf time.

Responsibilities

  • Be available and visible to members and guests to provide exemplary service
  • Take food and drink orders from pool guest and retrieve food from clubhouse when appropriate
  • Cleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, record water and chemical levels, adjusting water & chemical levels as necessary, and skims the pool with skimmer as needed
  • Keep accurate records on daily pool check in
  • Monitors members and guests entering and exiting the pool area. Ensures capacity is not exceeded
  • Maintain and clean bath house throughout the shift - mopping, restocking, and cleaning as needed


Additional Skills

  • CPR & Lifeguard certified preferred
  • Must be 17 years of age and older


Working Conditions

Must be able to withstand unpredictable weather conditions as the primary location of work is outdoors. During peak golf time, pool staff may need to walk to main clubhouse to retrieve dining or bar orders for pool guests.
