Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with equipment and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to ensure regular upkeep of machinery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Prepare and submit reports on equipment status and maintenance metrics.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Ensure that all equipment is operated and maintained in a safe manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and equipment reliability. Implement best practices and suggest upgrades or replacements as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering and maintenance team members to coordinate tasks and support overall equipment and facility operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CMRP, PE) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or machinery engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with machinery maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and industry standards. Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
